Attorneys Barrault and Bryant Scheduled to Speak at Mass Fire Fighters Union Conference, June 2-3
The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts holds its biennial John F. Jennings Educational Seminar June 1-4 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center. Attorneys Leah Barrault and Patrick Bryant are two of just three union attorneys invited to present at the prestigious convention. The Seminar, held every two years, is attended by fire fighter union locals from throughout the Commonwealth.
Attorney Barrault, who has presented at the PFFM Seminars for nearly a decade, will be presenting two sessions on Monday June 2 about bargaining in tough times. Her presentation is called "JLMC negotiations, Strategies & Tactics" will discuss her experience of bargaining on behalf of several dozen PFFM locals. She'll discuss how to maximize compensation and benefits for your members, and what to do when your employer claims to have limited funds.
Attorney Bryant also has experience presenting at PFFM over the past decade. He will be presenting two sessions on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 3, entitled "Employee Discipline: Before the Lawyer Gets There." Bryant will drawn upon his 12 years of experience representing public safety officers to help PFFM locals defend their members facing discipline. Bryant will walk through the definition of just cause and show local officials how to investigate discipline claims to help cut down on your legal bills.
