Warren H. Pyle (1933-2019)

Founding Partner

Warren H. Pyle, the senior founding partner of Pyle Rome, spent more than four decades representing workers in a wide variety of employment matters, including age, disability and sex discrimination, long term disability benefits, health and pension benefits, severance pay, wrongful discharge and related maters.

Mr. Pyle represented college and university faculty and other professionals in denial of tenure, disability discrimination and contract disputes.

Mr. Pyle also represented a wide variety of labor organizations, including locals of United Steelworkers of America, United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Service Employees International Union, International Association of Fire Fighters, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, as well as faculty unions at Boston University, Emerson College, Berklee College, and Wentworth Institute, in contract negotiations, grievances, arbitration, and litigation.

Until his passing in 2019, Mr. Pyle continued to take an active interest in the work of the firm and the important issues facing working people and the unions that represent them. The firm is proud to carry on his legacy.
